Blood & Sand would like to welcome Virginia Distillery Company into our humble abode on Thursday, October 17th from 5-9. We will have Amanda Beckwitht, Guest Experience & Education Manager at Virginia Distillery Company. After launching the tour and tasting program for thedistillery’s Visitor Center, Amanda moved into running training for all internal as well as external team members. She has been fortunate to train with the
best, including nosing expert Nancy Fraley, Scottish consultants HarryCockburn and the late Dr. Jim Swan. Amanda helped to develop andnow co-leads the company’s sensory program along with the Distillery Director and runs the distillery’s cocktail and tasting program. In addition to her training and education role, Amanda is an active part of the Brand team, participating in events, radio and on-air appearances for the
distillery.

We will be featuring speciality cocktails all night highlighting the versatility of this wonderfully delicious New World and Old World Style Whisky.
